Sketch work

Sometimes when I know I've got a tonne of work to do and hardly any time at all to do it in I like to waste a lot of that time sketching things that have nothing to do with that piece of work. Enjoy.

How I wish.

Oh how I wish I could come up with ideas like these. I love Bombay Bicycle Club, amazing live band, and the video for How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep just makes them better in my eyes. I came across it the other day, sorry if you've already seen it.

Also, what's with Fleet Foxes making one great animated music video after another?! I love that band and I love their styles even more. Here is the video for The Shrine / An Argument, I recommend you check out their other videos if you enjoy.

New Project

So I'm now working on my final project of the year. Just like with the last one I'll be posting pictures and the like to go along with my progression.......

PREMISE:

It is approaching midnight as the young woman sleeps silently in her room, unaware of the danger approaching. Stalking her from outside her bedroom window a terrifying figure slowly makes his way inside through an unlocked window. The dark figure plans to murder the woman in her sleep for unknown reasons, and watches her intently as the night unfolds. The young woman suddenly wakes and is startled to find her window open and a seemingly unknown man watching her from inside her room. The man makes his way across the room to the woman, as she is stares, frozen, unable to move or scream. He strangles her to death before fleeing into the night.

The animation short will be done fully in black and white, and as there are no speaking parts from any characters, in a kind of 1920's silent movie style. Due to its nature and content it will be aimed at an audience of around 18-30 year olds or just anyone who enjoys a good thriller.
